Margaret is widely regarded as one of the leading Barristers at the Bar of SVG. With wide experience in both Civil & Criminal Law she has appeared before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council where, together with Ben Emmerson QC, she was successful in appeal against the Death Sentence in collaboration with The Death Penalty Project at Simons, Muirhead & Burton in London.
Margaret has extensive experience as counsel in areas such International Trademarks & Patents, Civil & Commercial Law, Company Law and Banking & Finance.

Matthew joined Hughes & Company in 2016 after Qualifying for the Bar of England & Wales having previously worked a number of years in New York City. Since then he has quickly elevated to Partner. Specialties include, the practice of Criminal Law, and the Law-of Torts along with Corporate Law.
